New Survey about Needs for Services to Help with Fertility and Sexuality Issues in Younger Breast Cancer Survivors - blog post image

Dr. Leslie Schover, a pioneering researcher in the field of sexuality and fertility after cancer, has launched a new survey about the specific reproductive health needs of women who were diagnosed with breast cancer before menopause.

Dr. Schover is conducting the survey to better understand the ongoing needs of young cancer patients for information and help related to sexuality, fertility, and pregnancy.

Leslie Schover, AFP Board Member Emeritus, has retired from her faculty position at MD Anderson to devote fulltime to Will2Love, a health startup. Will2Love offers online help for cancer-related sexual and fertility issues. It primary goals are to provide evidence-based information, self-help strategies, and guidance on getting expert professional care. Will2Love’s services are internet based, so they will be available at home, 24/7, at an affordable price.

Since young women with breast cancer are very important to Will2Love, they are looking for input from these patients and survivors to shape the services they plan to offer, including their internet program and different types of telehealth counseling.
