Carrie Salem

Carrie Salem

Carrie Salem is a previvor turned survivor focused on fertility advocacy and support for high-risk and cancer patients.

After a decade of screening, several rounds of IVF, an early stage cancer diagnosis, and subsequent surgeries, she is eternally grateful for that initial conversation with her surgeon, an employer who provided comprehensive fertility coverage, and the incredible doctors and scientific advances in this field. Carrie is committed to better education around and access to fertility preservation, with the goal of making her experience the norm rather than the exception.

Carrie works at Google. She attended UC Berkeley (BA) and The Wharton School at UPenn (MBA). She resides in Brooklyn with her husband, dachshund, and two BRCA-free children.
