The Alliance for Fertility Preservation Supports the Colorado Building Families Act

We want to alert you to an important advocacy event around family building. We hope you’ll either join us, help spread the word or send letters of support to your lawmakers and representatives.

The Colorado Building Families Act

On Thursday, February 6th, AFP will be partnering with Resolve: The National Infertility Association and the Colorado Fertility Advocates to raise awareness in Denver about the need for both fertility preservation and IVF coverage. Our main goal is to pass the Building Families Act.

If you are in Colorado and are a cancer patient, a survivor or a family member of someone who has been impacted by cancer who cares about family building, please join us!

How do you know if this is something you can advocate for? Ask yourself these questions:

  • Do you believe IVF should be covered by all insurers?
  • Do you believe fertility preservation should be covered for cancer patients and others whose medical treatment may cause infertility?
  • Do you believe Colorado residents should have access to the standard of care they deserve?

If you answered yes, you can let your lawmakers know you want access to care for building families. Tell them you want IVF and fertility preservation coverage for all Coloradans.

Please click HERE to register now for this FREE event and join our community of advocates to pass the Building Families Act in 2020. Appointments will be made for you and ensure you have everything you need for this important day.

As always, thank you for your support and feel free to contact us with any questions!
