ASCO published the first guidance for oncologists on fertility preservation in 2006. ASCO updated its fertility guideline in 2013 and 2018.
American Society for Reproductive Medicine
ASRM issued an Ethics Committee opinion on fertility preservation for cancer patients in 2005, which was updated in 2013 and 2019:
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
ACOG Committee opinion on oocyte cryopreservation for fertility preservation in women facing medically-induced infertility. Issued in 2014 and reaffirmed in 2016.
